16-year-old Luo Zhilu won the first women's bronze medal in the Climbing World Cup

On the evening of June 11, in the women's bouldering finals of the IFSC Climbing World Cup Brixen 2022, Luo Zhilu, a 16-year-old Chinese player, became the first Chinese athlete to enter the finals of the world cup bouldering event and stand on the world cup podium of the event.

Before then, Luo Zhilu used to win the all-round champions of the women's combined event (group of players under 16 years old) of the 14th National Games. In this event, she ranked the third in the preliminary and tied for the fourth in the semifinals. The IFSC commentator said that she was promoted to the finals with "calm and powerful climbing strength".

Luo Zhilu said after the game that, before the fourth line in the finals, she thought whether she could stand on the podium, but the competitor was the former Olympic runner-up, so she focused on how to climb along the route at that time and then won the bronze medal after three attempts.
