As the last stop of a promotion activity for the ancient towns along the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, a closing ceremony was held in Beijing on June 5.

Starting from Tangxi, Hangzhou, passing Wuzhen, Yangzhou, Nanyang, Yangliuqing, and finally arriving at Tongzhou in Beijing, the six representative ancient towns from south to north along the Grand Canal were selected to promote the Grand Canal culture.
